The Gaming and Lotteries Provider Announces Revenue Growth
The Scientific Gaming Corporation is one of the world's largest and most influential providers of everything from lotteries to games. Recently, the company released its 2015 fiscal year and fourth-quarter results, which prove that discipline and strategy can certainly pay off in the end.
The Numbers Don't Lie
According to a recent report, Scientific Gaming Corporation's 2015 revenue grew by some 18% thanks to interactive games and by $737 million based almost solely on their investments in land-based gaming. The company certainly spread its wings in 2015; it acquired Bally Tech in the last quarter of 2014, which certainly seems to have paid off. Group revenue for the year soared to $2.8 billion and their operating profit earned them another $1.1 billion.
Spreading Out
Thanks to last year's inherent success, Scientific Gaming continues to expand into 2016. So far, the company has managed to launch real-money gambling content, which includes everything from slots to poker to classic casino games, at William Hill Casino. It also announced a deal with Gamesys, a huge provider of online slots and casino software, that includes integration with both real money gambling and remote game servers. As if this were not enough, Scientific Gaming has also announced a deal to bring its mobile gaming content to PlayNow.com.

According to Scientific Gaming CEO and President Gavin Isaacs, "2015 was a transformational year for Scientific Games, culminating in a strong finish for our fourth quarter operating results." Isaacs cited their integration with other companies and their dedication to discipline and financial strategy as the main reason for their growth. He also mentioned that the company has built strong foundation for the future, which is evident in their 2016 activities thus far.
It seems that Scientific Gaming Corporation, which has always been popular among gamblers, is gaining ground at a swift pace into 2016. Whether their revenue increases continue into the fourth quarter and in future years still remains to be seen.
